Today, I heard the news of Jun Seba’s passing. I was sort of in disbelief & had chills throughout my body. He was such a talented music artist, who was admired by many. The first time I heard his music (which was only last year) I became an instant fan.
Thank you for the beats you brought to us. You’ve gone too soon, but your music will live on. R.I.P. Jun Seba aka Nujabes <3

My super awesome & talented friend, Loan, created this beautiful artwork for me. It’s a replica of Audrey Kawasaki’s ‘Carry On’ piece. Loan knew I was a big fan of Audrey’s artwork, so she wanted to create a replica of her work for my birthday. I love it! So yesterday was my birthday. I turned……let’s just say I’m getting old. Thanks to the help of Yelp, I chose to have my b-day dinner at Xanh Restaurant in Mountain View (an Asian fusion restaurant). The decor was darn impressive. It has that hip & modern type of look that you’d expect from a restaurant/lounge in San Francisco. I was pleasantly surprised.
Out of all the dishes we had, I’d have to say the Ahi Tuna Tartare was my favorite. It was served over dry ice! Whaaat.
